This activity was conducted from the 9th to 10th March, 2022, at the Jarra Soma, Lower River Region. The overall goal of the validation workshop was for the research reports to be reviewed by participants – in whose regions and communities the research was conducted – and other stakeholders and validated for adoption as an advocacy tool and also to inform policy makers on the status quo of the thematic areas. The project aimed at improving on the quality of the research report through participatory assessment and feedback on the extent to which the realities at country level are adequately reflected; to improve on the usefulness of the report by ensuring consistency of the findings with the recommendation. This Activity was implemented in partnership with Activista the Gambia, Beakanyang and Think Young Women, supported by the UNDP.
